How It Works

Every password uses the browser's built-in Web Cryptography API (window.crypto.getRandomValues()), defined by the W3C and implemented in all modern browsers. This is cryptographically secure and suitable for passwords, keys, tokens, and nonces.

Unlike Math.random() which is predictable, the Crypto API draws entropy from your system's hardware randomness sources.
